Guardus is the most advanced and surprising round control available. It is a resistant data collector or wand - as the users call it, which is based on contact memory technology, the iButtons. The basic solution for Guardus round control is to fix iButtons at different locations that the guard should visit, the checkpoints. The patrol officer places Guardus onto the iButton. At this moment it registers the name of the iButton read, along with the day and time of reading. Later on the information may be downloaded to a computer that creates complete, easy to understand reports.
